This small footprint beach home on the East Coast of Tasmania was designed to sit somewhere between a family home and a beach shack, with nautical themes. The design avoids competing with the stunning views and beach environment, and lets the sense of ‘place’ permeate every space. Every habitable room has views and light, and this was achieved by pulling apart the living areas from the restful bedroom areas and connecting them with a ‘green lantern’ linkway.
